Our Story
A Family Kitchen,
A Lifelong Passion
Where It Began
Born from Celebration,
Shaped by Heritage
Habesha Pastry started the way the best things do — at a kitchen table, surrounded by family, with the scent of cardamom and toasted sesame filling the room.
Our roots are Eritrean. Our techniques blend traditional recipes with modern patisserie craft. We bake for birthdays, engagements, new arrivals, and quiet Tuesday mornings that deserve something special.
Every Himbasha carries a story. Every cake is an invitation to celebrate.
What We Believe
The Principles We Bake By
01
Freshness First
We never bake ahead and store. Every order is prepared the day it is collected — so you taste the difference in every bite.
02
Cultural Authenticity
Our Eritrean heritage is not decoration — it shapes our flavours, our spices, and the ceremonies our bakes are designed to honour.
03
Inclusive Baking
With vegan and plant-based options, no table is left out. Everyone deserves a slice — and we make sure of it.
The Craft
Every Detail
Made by Hand
We use couverture chocolate, real double cream, hand-split vanilla pods, and seasonal fruits. No shortcuts. No artificial flavourings.
Cakes are layered and frosted to order. Himbasha is kneaded by hand and baked on the day. Our biscuits are rolled thin, cut fresh, and finished with the perfect bite.
This is not fast food. This is baking — slow, intentional, and deeply personal.
